GlobalProtect for iOS connects to a GlobalProtect gateway on a Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewall to allow mobile users to benefit from enterprise security protection. Enterprise administrator can configure the same app to connect in either Always-On VPN, Remote Access VPN or Per App VPN mode. The app automatically adapts to the end user’s location and connects the user to the best available gateway in order to deliver optimal performance for all users and their traffic, without requiring any effort from the user. This allows users to work safely and effectively at locations outside of the traditional office.

A Step Backwards
UI is to clean where it actually inhibits UI usage. Simplify!!! Come on portal selection, normal login prompt why is that so hard?
Also DNS suffix information seems to be broke I.e. I have to type the full domain name of anything to access it. I have not yet looked into this, but this was not an issue on the “legacy client”
This app is a disaster. After installing, I had no cellular or Wi-Fi connection at all. The app kept prompting for me to sign in. I signed in and it wouldn’t connect. It works on my Mac, so I know it’s not my account or access.
It kept switching on the option to connect on demand. While on, it was connecting to VPN even though I wasn’t accessing any services that require VPN.
Ipad - portrait mode only?
Agree with others - a step back from the previous version (but glad to have something).
Bug: stuck in portrait mode - not optimal for Ipad with keyboard. Hoping a fix comes soon (thx)
