Horribly ridden with bugs

I bought this because it promised gapless playback, a feature that is glaringly missing from Google's native app. It does do that, yes, but overall the whole app is so ridden with bugs that it's not even worth it. 50% of the time it won't play a song when you tap on it; you have to tap on a few other songs and then try again to get it to work. It'll sometimes magically turn on the "import iPod music" feature, something I specifically do NOT want on, but when you try to turn it off, it keeps all your local music there anyway. I tried to download an album for offline listening, and then when I tried to delete it, it started downloading that entire artist's discography instead of deleting the album I wanted it to delete! Lots of phone overheating in general when using the app. Not worth it. Overall not a functional application.

Would be perfect if only...

This app is good but is very buggy and unstable. I wanted a google music app with an eq which it does a great job of providing. However the streaming is spotty and app crashes fairly frequently. I found that downloading much of my music to the device solved the streaming problem, but it still crashes.

With all that said, the functionality and looks of the app are great. The eq is great. I am keeping it and still use it primarily because the increase in sound with the eq is worth the minor mishaps the app has. When they fix the bugs this will deff be a must have and 5/5 app.

Good app

This app has come a long way since I've last used it. It performs like a dream for me. I was able to listen to two albums without it crashing on me. I had the built in equalizer (something Google Play Music DOESN'T have but DESPERATELY needs) set to Bass Booster and the sound is absolutely incredible!! I hope you don't end the support on this app because it is finally realizing its potential because this is the app Google Play Music should be and more!!
