Unleash your inner Matthew Smith with Goatup 2!
GoatUp 2 is the followup to our popular game GoatUp, hailed by its users as "the goatiest platform game on all of iOS".
Whereas GoatUp was a continuous-climbing game, GoatUp 2 delivers more traditional platforming action across a variety of self-contained levels. Go for the highest score, or see how fast you can complete a level, and check your prowess against the rest of the goats in the world on the Game Center leader boards. Frolic, leap, fart on the heads of your enemies, swim, reverse gravity, eat grass, travel on lifts - a world of capricious capering awaits you.
Do you fancy yourself as a game designer? Well, now you can become one, albeit in a purely goat-related manner. Use the built-in level editor to design, test, export and share your own levels. Devise devilish caprine capers to share with the nanny and kids. Set testing ungulate-related challenges for your mates and work colleagues. Earn bonus points for not farting in front of the Queen!
GoatUp 2. For the caprine game designer within you. The one who likes eating flowers and farting on Manic Miner enemies. You know it makes sense.
Llamasoft scores again!!!
Another great game from Llamasoft, easily the best designer making games today. Don't think twice, buy this game, or any of the minotaur games, today. My fave is still 5 a Day, but this one is a close second. Now all I need is some acid to make this game complete.
It's devs like Llamasoft
It's because of devs like Llamasoft that I love the App Store so much. I would "Subscribe" to Llamasoft, where I get insta downloads, and he gets his asking price, at release, no questions asked. Goat Up 2 is no exception. I only wish I bought it yesterday.
misses the charm and simplicity of the original
Goatup 1 is a game I can sit down and have fun with, and it's my favorite Llamasoft game for iOS. Goatup 2 is tedious from the start, having to follow a prescribed path. It feels sloppy: rough artwork (even by Llamasoft standards), not clear what's an enemy, dumb humor (again, even by Llamasoft standards). I will keep trying to like it and update my review if needed.
UPDATE: I couldn't bring myself to play any more and eventually deleted it.
