Tired of the noise and privacy issues on social media? Us too!
We're creating a movement for people who want to authentically share life with family and friends outside of the spotlight of "front stage social media". We're calling it "back stage social media" where you feel free to share the good, the bad and the in-between. Think kids' soccer games and double chins NOT perfectly orchestrated selfies and duck face.
Easily create an oasis for your family and friend groups where the only thing you're seeing is what you all are sharing. You and your friends will never see any ads and you don't have to worry about us ever selling your data to 3rd parties. We are taking a very active stance against that.
So, here are just a few of the things you can do on goHappy now and please tell us what else you'd like to see - we love getting feedback!
Create closed social networks for each of your different groups you do life with - think close family, the extended family (e.g., Cousin Eddie), college friends, the neighborhood crew, book club, etc. You're then able to share with each group independently.
Create "Streams" that are important to each group (dedicated channels for things like "Vacations", "Date Night Ideas", "Books", “Movies”) to keep conversations and recommendations on-topic.
Share videos, photos, photo albums, etc. Anyone in the group can add photos, videos, comments, etc.
And, you can search for any of them by keyword.
Message in real-time and keep those conversations more organized through "threading" (don't worry, it's super simple).
We're trying to make it super simple for everyone.
At goHappy, our mission is to help people build good relationships so that they can live happier lives. We hope we can facilitate you doing just that. Please let us know how it's working for you and what feedback you have for us; we love getting it and it's what helps us serve you better!
Like Santa’s magical minions, the team at goHappy Labs has been rockin’ out some delightful new features (and fixin’ bugs).
Streamlined toolbar: We “re-hauled” the tools at the bottom of the screen (yay!). Now you can spark conversations, share photos and videos, and create albums from a refined menu. Less tapping for you and your group. More awesome sharing for all. Ho, ho!
Simplified replies: It’s easier than ever to create bundled conversation threads. We were inspired to change this feature after receiving constructive and helpful feedback from some of our cherished customers. We think the experience is much better (thanks to you).
Easier albums: When you add more than one image or video to any stream, goHappy will automagically create an elegant album for you.
Emoji reactions: Because sometimes all you wanna say is...Hamburger. Clown. Rocket ship. Palm tree. Poop. Smiley. Smiley. (Right?!)
Navigation improvements: Way easier now to access your settings, preferences and streams. Way.
Bug fixes: You’ll find the app is much faster and significantly reduced crash incidents.
Feedback: Please do send requests, questions, and feedback (and cookie recipes) to email@example.com. We answer every email. And if you’re feeling generous, please consider leaving us a review.

I got off the big social media sites last year and my group text went crazy. Several of my friends have androids and our text chain gets broken up all the time and I miss texts, etc. I love the ease of quickly accessing my groups and feel like I’m
actually much more connected with real stuff going on in their lives. Kudos gohappy!
With a bunch of new features being recently rolled out, I’ve found it even easier to connect with my family while I’m away at college. I love how goHappy doesn’t have the traditional “social media” feel to it. Rather, I’ve been able to focus on the people closest to me and share my life with them!
10 out 10, would recommend.
Developer Response ,
Thanks so much for the feedback - we love that you've found goHappy useful and hope you crushed this semester at college!:)
Personalized Social Sharing
What a great idea! This application takes the hassle out of group text messages, and gives the ability to share ideas and consolidate information across multiple platforms for social media. Very well done!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
