Ratings and Reviews
Makes posting your scores so easy, both home and away. However, it drives me crazy that when I want to look up my strokes at a course, I first have to memorize my index from the home screen, then I have to go find the course rating and slope on my own and memorize those in order to enter all of this in the calculator. Why doesn't the calculator just let me look up a course by name, pick a set of tees, then ask me if I want to use my own index or enter another index, and voila show me the strokes.
Good App for Golfer's HCP
I've been using this app for over a year. This past Sept (2015) it was time to renew my yearly fee and it was debited out of my checking account which is fine. Problem is that checking account will soon be closed I cannot for the sake of me find a way to contact the people who run this app to let them know what checking account they can debut next years dues. Until then I'm enjoying this app. It's simple to use and tracks most of the things I'm looking for to improve my golf game. Tim H (NC)
Good, not great
The recent update caused a significant increase in effort to post a score. What used to take two or three taps now takes half a dozen or more. Graphical layout is nowhere near Apple suggested functionality. Not terrible but could be much better.
Edit/Another huge annoyance is the constant prompting for my Apple ID password when posting a score. It appears doing so triggers a check for a subscription of some kind which shouldn't be happening as my "subscription" is through my club and not directly through GolfNet.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
