Fixed iCloud sync.
We’re happy to announce that we have finally found a fix for the issues with iCloud. After updating, you should be able to quickly sync all your changes and notebooks across all of your devices again.

Almost Perfect!
This is a fantastic note taking app. The features I love the most are the multiple notebook functionality, the ability to search hand written notes (bonus for being able to read my hand writing), the ability to zoom out and see multiple pages, and the robust selection of paper types (such as graph papers, ruled, etc). A few features I'd love added would be the ability to see all notebooks of all categories on one page (basically a "show all" option) and more pen options. For example, the fountain pen should write more like a real fountain pen thus being more sensitive to pen position. At the moment it s more like a ball point pen. But, that is minor. With all the other options, this is a strong, easy to use note program that has improved my productivity.

I got this app, thinking it would have simple note-taking features. There's much more features that I pleasantly enjoy. I was initially worried about syncing and accidental deletion looking at past reviews. The automatic syncing works just fine for me, and there's manual syncing as well for safety. As for deletion, GoodNotes has its own trash folder, so documents can be easily recovered.
However, I wish there was a way to see double pages on a single view. Maybe there is a button that allows it, but I couldn't find it anywhere.
+ Is there a way that you could add a simple voice recording feature into the app? I know the recording aspect is a deal breaker to a lot of people.
Works great with Apple Pencil
I was looking for something to annotate pdfs that uses a page format rather than a scrolling format for the pdfs and this was the best reviewed of all of them. After buying it, I also discovered how great it is for taking notes and the text converter is nearly flawless even reading my loopy handwriting. Add to all of this the integration with the Apple Pencil and I finally have an app that allows me to discard notebooks. (I still love the old fashioned pen and paper but I have notebooks scattered everywhere and can never remember which one I used to write things down, not to mention the inability to search them all for a specific item.). Great great app.
