Here's what GoodRx users are saying:

"I am still in shock!!! I called my doctor to cancel the prescription he ordered for me due to the cost. Then I found GoodRx. I brought your coupon to Walgreens and wound up paying $40.20 instead of the $452.97 that was their original cost. You guys are literally a lifesaver! The pharmacist was as surprised as I was. Thank you so much!"

“As a doctor, I’m always interested in saving money for my patients. GoodRx helps my patients afford the drugs they need - and it’s so easy!”

"I decided to give your site a spin and was pleasantly surprised to see you guys saved my $50 a month right off the bat. Not a bad bonus for a first time user!"

What's New in Version 5.0.2

Update 5.0.2 is dedicated to those of you who stayed up until the wee hours a few weeks back to drop big stacks of cabbage on the iPhone X. Now that you’re broke, you definitely need to save on your prescriptions, so we’ve nipped and tucked to ensure that our prices now come at you in full edge-to-edge, million-color HDR. Plus, our app now uses FaceID to capture your shock when you see how much we can save you. (It doesn’t, but can you talk about the X without making a bad FaceID joke? We think not!)

It’s little consolation, but we threw in a few updates for the non-X, still-solvent people out there (yes, we're bitter) with improvements to the oft-neglected iPad version of GoodRx. However, please don't take our improvements to the iPad to be permission for you to take photos with your iPad. It just looks dorky, people.

Excellect app!

In several instances GoodRX costs are below my copay cost of medications in my prescription drug program, i. e. medicare plan D. This concerns me greatly as shouldn’t one’s plan D program drug costs be negotiated for lower costs for their customers? Are is it that these programs are cartels keeping drug costs high to enrich the companies at the expense of retired persons who have the most accumulated wealth in the US than any other group collectively? Thus, another means of wealth transfer from seniors to drug manufacturers and insurance companies. Or are the laws structured in the United States written and devised to benefit drug manufactures and insurance companies from competitively bidding and crossing state lines? Many of these drugs are distributed in other countries at extremely lower costs than what it cost US citizens.

I have not used GoodRX as of yet. However, I’m looking forward to using it in 2018 and the challenge of lowering my prescription costs.

Thank you to the stakeholders of GoodRX for your collaborative efforts in the development of this app.

Uninsured Dream

I work in the emergency room, in a very low income area. The majority of people are on state funded insurance or uninsured. It's very frustrating when a patient needs a medication, and what I prescribe them is either not covered, or the patient can't afford it. Gone are the days of the four dollar lists. In my own family, we went from paying $10 for 90 days of thyroid medicine, to $30 for one month. Good Rx has been amazing!

A patient just the other day came back to the ER, because their doxycycline prescription, which used to be $4 everywhere, was $79. We were able to find it on Good Rx for $18, which he could afford.

Despite that most patients have no insurance, the majority of them have cell phones with internet (go figure). I can typically find a medication that will cover what they need at a reasonable rate with Good Rx. Saves me the hassle of a ton of phone calls later about patients saying they can't afford the medicine. Thank you to Good Rx!

Too good to be true? NOPE it worked for me!

A miracle APP!

**UPDATE**-compare prices with WellRx! One of my Rx’s is 1/3 the price GoodRx gives. I but my particular Rx from the cheaper App price!

For those without prescription coverage like me and have several medications that can be very costly, this APP is a Godsend! I heard about GoodRX via a card in my doctor's office and thought there was a catch or it was a scam, however it worked perfectly the first time I used it and was very accurate! I've tried other "discount drug" APPs and their quoted prices were laughable compared to GoodRX. I have no idea why but whatever they are doing with this APP but it is awesome. I'd even consider paying for it because it has worked so well so far.
I do call the pharmacy ahead of time to verify that they take this APP and I also try to verify pricing before wasting the drive. Pricing in the APP can be literally 90%+ cheaper between pharmacies so shop around! I have had pharmacies want to see a prescription first before they enter the GoodRX credentials to give my exact cost. Not a big issue. Also, I was astonished about the price differences between pharmacies that are literally right across the street from each other! Consequently, I don't have a fixed pharmacy that I use. I just go where the lowest price GoodRX gives me.

Highly recommend!!!
