Google Keep - Notes and lists

By Google, Inc.

This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.

• Capture, edit, share, and collaborate on your notes on any device, anywhere.
• Add notes, lists, photos, and audio to Keep.
• Organize your notes with labels and colors.
• Set and forget. Get reminded about a note at the right time or place.
• Record a voice memo and have it automatically transcribed.
• Grab the text from an image to help you quickly find that note again through search.

Need to remember to pick up some groceries? Set a location-based reminder to pull up your grocery list right when you get to the store. Need to finish a to-do? Set a time-based reminder to make sure you never miss a thing.

Next time you go to the store, share your shopping list on Keep and watch as items get checked off in real time. No need for text messages back and forth. Get things done together, faster.

Quickly filter and search for notes by color and other attributes like lists with the label “To-dos”, audio notes with reminders or just see shared notes. Find what you're looking for even faster, and let Keep do the remembering for you.

Keep works on your phone, tablet and computer. Everything you add to Keep syncs across your devices so your important stuff is always with you.

Lag, non-responsive, failures to sync

I am hugely reliant on this app. Unfortunately, since iOS 11, and especially with this most recent app update, the app has become very unstable.
Syncing across my devices is sketchy at best, and information disappears. I’ve had to recreate whole sections of notes which sync my updates; rather, the app took the updated note and synced it backwards to the previous version on another device.
Response to touch / type /cursor movement is slow at best, but usually impossible. You can’t move the cursor anywhere. To move in a note, you actually have to exit the note, re-enter it, carefully place the cursor at what you need to edit (nowhere else!), then exit again, and re-enter it at the next place to edit. Any attempt to move the cursor or tap elsewhere in the note has absolutely no response.
I hope this is rapidly addressed, as otherwise Keep is a lifeline app for me.

Helps calm my nerves!

I use this app for digital mind mapping. I have, floating in my head at anytime, to do’s for work, hobbies, goals and home. Anytime I start to feel like losing track I get super anxious.

I love this app because I can create a list for everything and see them all at one time. I also like that I can add photos to pretty things up even more. It’s so assuring to open it and see my minds clutter well organized. Another well thought out product from Google!

Great for Lists but not for notes on iOS

The app is overall very good. Creating lists and checklists is fast and fluid. However, writing normal notes is cumbersome. For some reason in the iOS version, you have to click and hold to move your cursor around in a normal note, instead of being able to just click and have the cursor move there immediately. It’s rather odd to have to hold a couple seconds each time you want to move the cursor. It is slow and not conducive to editing notes, so I really hope this is fixed in the near future.
