I have a friend that is much less fortunate than I am and his mom lives with him so I’m trying to help them out by sending them some money I’ve dealt with google customer service for DAYS between text message email and phone calls I couldn’t get any help they just kept running me through the same process over and over asking for the same thing they also kept switching me between customer service providers I imagine to start the process over because no one wanted or maybe could fix it? So I finally gave up and went to Walmart and paid my money to them. I would suggest if you have a debit card that is also read as a credit card to not use this app because they will have no clue how to file your card in their system so you can use it. Or maybe it’s because i use a small bank I have no idea I couldn’t get any real answers from anyone this was a terribly frustrating process I’ll be trying my hardest not to use google anymore but surprise surprise they own everything and don’t care about us hey googles the new Donald trump.

Google wallet was really great, but as the adage goes, “Nothing good lasts forever.” Why Google decides to do anything they do is beyond me. Furthermore, the audacity with which they do things without the slightest regard for the users of their products, is a testament to just how little they care about us. Their sole interest is in revenue. We are unwitting revenue generators for them. WE are the PRODUCT. WE are the under-compensated revenue generators for this ugly giant. Yet they act as if it THEY who are doing US they service.

Back to my original thought. Apparently, Google decided to “upgrade” its pay app. Now, instead of just clicking on the email of a recipient, you have to pick their phone numbers. SOME PEOPLE HAVE MORE THAN ONE PHONE NUMBER. This means we must either flip a coin, or dance around and write numbers down. Also, the “history” of recipients with notes has magically disappeared. This was the feature that made the app worth using. Now they’ve put guesswork into the app.

What’s worst of all, is that Google ignores these reviews. Doesn’t that just make you feel valued?

Avoid!!! Please read:

I thought Google Wallet was great. It was pretty fast, free, and I was able to pay my old roommate by the flick of a finger.

It wasn't too bad of an app. Until I came across a problem.

I sent my significant other money to pay some of our bills. He had set up his bank account, verified it, and set his bank account to his primary method of sending and receiving money.

When he got a confirmation email, it told him it was being sent to his "MasterCard." (He doesn't have a MasterCard.)

We called customer service, got talked over and HUNG UP ON. The second CSR also talked over him and raised his voice. Turns out, that MasterCard was MY debit card. They tried to use the excuse that my card was the oldest method of payment (it wasn't, he had another debit card on there far older than mine), so the system chose that over his primary. The CSR argued with us. Literally argued with us about this.

The funny thing is! We never physically added my card! Once, we had used my card to pay a bill within his browser. (Google Chrome.) Chrome took it upon itself to save my card info and add it to his Google Wallet account.

We tried on both ends to stop the transfer, but Wallet told us it was impossible. So, I have $2,250 going out of my account for a few days to *hopefully* be returned in a timely manner BACK INTO my OWN account.

How stupid is that!?
