The Columbia River Gorge is world-class landscape that extends more than 100 miles east of Portland, where the Columbia River carves a dramatic canyon between the states of Oregon and Washington. It is the largest national scenic area in the United States: a land of natural contrasts between rain forest and desert, sea-level passage and alpine meadows.
The Gorge Trip App leads you in your discovery of one of the most beautiful places on Earth...the Columbia River Gorge. Find information on hiking trails, waterfalls, parks, endemic wildflowers, history, wine, as well as maps, photos, and other resources.

not very helpful. if you're hiking there is no service so maps don't help because they are not downloadable. other info is available elsewhere. pictures are pretty.
Great app for locals or visitors!
I'm a local and have enjoyed visiting the Gorge year round. This is a great app that makes for easy navigation, exploration and adventure. I love the extra educational pieces so that I can learn about local features like wild flowers. This is like having a hiking guidebook without having to spend a lot of time figuring out which hike to take and how to get there. For less than $1 this is well worth it!
This app has a nice layout, beautiful photos, and plenty of good information. Whether planning your first trip to the Columbia River Gorge as I am, or returning for the hundredth time, this app is a must! (Plus, if you offer feedback via the app, the response is friendly and quick.)
