Gospel Facts™ is the official app of the Utah Lighthouse Ministry. This app provides access to original unaltered versions of historical editions of LDS/Mormon scriptures, documents, and other content. Study, share, and compare these editions against modern versions.

Gospel Facts™ also includes a powerful "diff" feature that allows you to easily compare two different versions of the same document (for example, chapters of the 1833 Book of Commandments against sections in the 1835 Doctrine and Covenants). This "diff" feature highlights & colors the deletions, additions, and modifications to the text.

Free content included: 1830 Book of Mormon, 1833 Book of Commandments, 1835 Doctrine and Covenants, 1851 Pearl of Great Price, First Vision accounts, Journal of Discourses, Lectures on Faith, and LDS Church statistical information.

Powerful stuff. 1830 edition Book of Mormon, Book of Commandment, original D&C, Journal of discourses quotes. 10 different first vision accounts. I’m an exmormon apologist. I wish every Mormon would download this an learn more about their history. I pray that God will use this app through Christians, to reach the Mormon people. (No grudge against them, no hatred, nothing but love for them, and for the truth.)

Sneaky anti Mormon app

Gerald A. Tanner

Fake app appropriating common Church symbols like the Christus to make it look legit. This information is widely available on the Internet, yet you have to try to sneak it in the back door? Hate destroys. Live and let live.

Developer Response

Our app utilizes a common Christian image of the 1838 Christus statue by a Danish artist, it is not an LDS piece of art. Since the information on our app is widely available I fail to see why it would be considered sneaky or hateful to also make it available on our app. By this reasoning, would it 'hateful' or 'sneaky' to add the Bible to another app?
