Ratings and Reviews

Hoping it gets better...

I'm giving this app 3 stars because it's the closest thing I've found to what I've been looking for. As a long-distance endurance horseback rider, an app which could track my mileage on long distance conditioning rides would be really helpful. I can't help but think there are others out there for whom odometers, pedometers, etc. are not applicable and who would also appreciate such an app, e.g., x-country skiers, roller-bladers, even hang-gliders, etc.

This app does seem to accurately measure distance traveled AS LONG AS YOU KEEP THE APP OPEN AND RUNNING THE ENTIRE TIME. You cannot lock your phone--if you do you will only get the geographic distance from where you locked the phone to your current location. This is ok if you're just traveling in a straight line one way but is useless if you're traveling in a loop or over a path that includes turns, switchbacks, etc. You can open and start the application and then open your music library and listen--you just can't lock the phone altogether or it stops its real-time measurement of distance being traveled. I'm not sure what happens if you get a call or text while it's running.

As with all apps of this nature, it is a voracious consumer of battery power--I'm not sure that it might not completely drain a fully charged phone in 3-4 hours.

I'll use this app on a limited basis while trying to carry it in a way that avoids inadvertent pocket-calls. Hope they keep working on it.

Doesn't work - period.

I broke my own Cardinal Rule and bought this app in a rush without looking at the reviews. It simply just doesn't work. At all. When I open the app it just has a blank black screen. This is on a 5s with iOS 8.1. That's $1.99 I guess I'll never get back...

I thought this app would be great for measuring my golf drives. However, it simply does not work. When flat on a table it says my latitude varies by 100 feet. I also could never get it to tell me how far I walked. This all with a full GPS signal. It is a great idea but terrible execution.
