Subscribe to the iPad edition of GQ and get the latest issue + app-exclusive photos and videos you won’t find in the magazine. Already a print subscriber? Download the app, tap the "Current Magazine Subscribers" button, and activate your subscription digitally. Single issues are also available for purchase.
This app download includes your handy reader, a library feature, AND the ability to purchase complete issues. And best of all, you'll experience it in two ways: Hold it vertically or turn it horizontally.
CURRENT APP USERS: Once you install the latest version of the GQ app and accept an upgrade to iOS 5, the GQ icon on your iPad will disappear— you’ll now find GQ in your Newsstand folder. Tap the image of our cover to read the latest issue and access your library. If you choose not to do both of these actions, the GQ icon will remain on your device and the app will remain accessible through it. In addition, to take advantage of having the latest issue automatically downloaded on to your device, go into your Settings on your iPad, select “Store” and turn on the automatic download switch for the GQ app.
GQ Magazine Subscriptions available:
A single issue for $4.99 (non-subscription)
1-month subscription for $1.99, automatically renewed until canceled
1-year subscription for $19.99, automatically renewed until canceled

Your iTunes account will automatically be charged at the same price for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period (another year for annual subscribers, another month for monthly subscribers) unless you change your subscription preferences in your account settings. You can manage your subscriptions through your Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period. What's New in Version 4.2
New look for MyGQ!
This app should be called 'can't connect to server try back later'. I have 3 subscriptions to magazines from this publisher and all of the apps suffer from the same issue (they are all basically the same app - different content). I'm currently trying to restore about 10 issues (switched devices-had to re-download) and I've been trying to download at random times through the day for 3 days... i still have 5 issues to go (for reference it took around 30 minutes to get 15 issues of a different magazine in that same time period). No download queue either... just one at a time then hope you can connect to get the next one. Even when you can connect to their servers or once you've finally downloaded an issue they are constantly in your face with buying subscription services (which most people probably have if they are using the app), or overpriced individual back issues which as far as i can tell you can't seperate out from the content you have paid them for. I have nothing positive to say about this app.
If I could, I would give it 1/2 star
I enjoy GQ magazine. You would think in this "Save the trees" world, they would have begun to focus on the electronic version of the magazine instead of the paper copy I had a subscription for a year and really enjoyed it. I decided to renew, and like others I have seen writing reviews, they assigned me a new account number which is not recognized for some reason. There is no phone number to call to fix this, and nobody responds to my emails. Unfortunately, I have to put up with paper copies of the magazine instead of the electronic version for the remainder of my subscription. However, you can bet I will NEVER SUBSCRIBE OR BUY ANOTHER magazine from this company. Not just Gq, but any other under the Conde' Moniker.
I don't know why this isn't 5 stars
I think GQ's app is the best out there, I look forward to it each month. I'm a graphic designer and the flow, editing and extra features are just stellar. I don't mean to drool but respect is due- great job on behalf of the design team that obviously works VERY well with the editorial team.
Keep up the great work!
