What's New in Version 1.3.1
We've got some great new features and improvements in this version!
1. Today Extension. View and complete tasks right from the Today panel on your Notifications screen.
2. Share Extension. Create tasks out of web pages in Safari and other apps on your device that support the Share button.
3. Background Syncing. Tasks now sync between your device and the web, even when the app isn't open.
4. Saved Searches. If you've created Saved Searches on the web, you can now view them in the app.
We also fixed a number of bugs to improve syncing and overall performance of the app! Enjoy!
If you want to get things done and stay focused...
Gqueues is the app for you! I've been through many apps in the last eight years searching for an app that is not not easy to use and set up but most importantly, sustainable. Gqueues is all that. From my personal grocery lists to collaborating with co workers between two companies it's all here in Gqueues. Follow up for things delegated to others is a breeze. Recurring Bill reminders a snap. The ability to open things in Gqueues and assign task to someone else is priceless. I would LOVE if the Chrome extension for Gqueues would work in iOS. My work around is to email myself at my Gqueues email extension and then move it from the Inbox.
Can't do without it
I am a book editor with usually 100 or so projects (books) going at one time. GQueues helps me keep track of them -- where they are in the process, what needs to happen next on certain titles, and so on. I really like the tagging feature as well as the ability to do tightly focused searches, like if I want to see only Spring books that are being typeset by a particular vendor -- and then I can save the search as a "Smart Queue." I like that my GQueues database is transparently sync'd across the web and all of my iDevices. I couldn't do my job without it.
Fantastic "Getting Things Done" tool
I found this a few years ago after reading the book "Getting Things Done" (a highly recommended read if you've not read it and are looking at this tool!). This app is very flexible for how you view your tasks, projects, and time-management style, and is a great way to keep up with all those niggling thoughts of things you "need to remember to deal with".
I sometimes find myself getting overwhelmed, and getting back to using this tool nearly always helps me make sense of the chaos of my life.
