Five years ago Carl Johnson escaped from the pressures of life in Los Santos, San Andreas... a city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs and corruption. Where filmstars and millionaires do their best to avoid the dealers and gangbangers.
Now, it's the early 90s. Carl's got to go home. His mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart and his childhood friends are all heading towards disaster.
On his return to the neighborhood, a couple of corrupt cops frame him for homicide. CJ is forced on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control of the streets.

The cheats are Awesome!
Ok all these people who are giving it one star don’t know what a “review” is. A review is where you tell people what the game is about. Its not about your complaint “My game didnt save OMG waaaaaahhhhh”(my game didnt save either). So if you want an actual review ill give you one.
The game is ten years old. (The graphics look like the game screenshots)The graphics are amazing for when this game was released.(personally the graphics don’t have to be in HD for me to like a game). Anyways, there is a Story mode and do whatever you want mode. I suggest looking up cheats because they are hilarious and make “do whatever you want mode" a lot more fun. The Story mode is fun too, you can buy clothes for your player along with haircuts, tattoos, and houses. So basically if you want to have the best game on the Mac Store I would strongly suggest you buying this game.
Also if your worried about your game not saving I redownloaded this game and it saves fine.
Current update erased my game—Still an awesome game, though
It’s still a great game, but updating to the current version somehow messed up my current game to the point where it wouldn’t load at all. It tried to load and then the screen went entirely black. Trying to quit showed a wait message before it actually quit. Starting a new game and overwriting the old one was the only solution. On the bright side, it allows me the chance to relive the game.
Again, it’s still an awesome game to play, and well worth the money for those that don’t have it yet. Those that are updating, though, might wind up with the unintendfed consequence of having to restart the entire game. It will also work with a USB controller, so long as you map the keys how you want them mapped.
Mad Mad Mad
not getting this stupid update that removes songs. Why don’t you just do what you did with vice city? Let us keep our songs, huh? Maybe dont push an update 10 years after the games release that removes things. No one cares about the mobile version, you can remove those songs, but don’t give us this. The worst part is I can’t hide the update in the store, which means annoying pop ups about it constantly. Its like selling us a popsicle, taking it back, eating half of it, then giving it back to us. “It’s the same thing!” you’d say. “You own a license to this popsicle, so I can eat it and you still have your deal”. Really sick of this. Just put out a patch with this stuff back, remove san andreas from the app store, and then release a HD version or something with the missing music. Everyone’s happy. No music deal issues, no mad customers.
