Welcome back to Vice City. Welcome back to the 1980s.
From the decade of big hair, excess and pastel suits comes a story of one man's rise to the top of the criminal pile. Vice City, a huge urban sprawl ranging from the beach to the swamps and the glitz to the ghetto, was one of the most varied, complete and alive digital cities ever created. Combining open-world gameplay with a character driven narrative, you arrive in a town brimming with delights and degradation and given the opportunity to take it over as you choose.

It's Vice City, you can't go wrong
Growing up as a young child and into my early adulthood I always have enjoyed playing the Grand Theft Auto ViceCity),on my TV in my room on PlayStation 2, or later on in my life as a young adult sitting at my desk playing it on a full mouse and keyboard my PC. I have thoroughly enjoyed the game play throughout the years, whether it's stealing a PCJ-600 to go do a few stunt jumps or going on a rampage to release some inner stress from your day. You can always find things to do. The mere fact that technology nowadays has made it possible for me to be able to play this amazing game on my iPhone anywhere that I am at anytime is more than enough to convince me that rockstar games has done a lot more then not only provided a great game for its players and loyal customers but has also brought A new chapter in the games life by bringing it to mobile devices. Although the controls may alter because of the limited space on an iPhone screen, wardrum studios has done a great job of creating a very controllable set of easy to move controls that make it adaptable for the player to set up the game to his or her preferences, everything is there though there's not a single aspect of grand theft auto vice city missing in this port to the iOS the only thing I have left to do is complete the game 100% all the way through Great game, great price, it's worth the $10 and if you're going to purchase it you might as well get them all.
WOW! One of the best PlayStation 2 games I have had the privilege to play!
I am kind of new to the GTA series and have been playing GTA V for quite some time. I decided to go back into the older games which I never had the chance to play, and looked through them. Out of all of them, Vice City seemed the most interesting. All I have to say after playing it for just an hour is "WOW!"
The one thing I love about the game is how it takes place in the 1980s. The game makes it seem as if you stepped into a time machine. Everything is right on the mark: The fashion, the music, the slang, just EVERYTHING. It's like a blast from the past, and that blast is like a sonic rocket.
Now, the gameplay. I saw that other people had an infuriating time with the driving mechanics. I will admit, it was a little bit hard to maneuver at first, but once you play it for a while, you get used to it. Now, moving off the driving, the world design is AMAZING for its time. (2002) It's also still fun to slice someone with a chainsaw, use rocket guns, kill gang members, etc. like modern GTA. It just has that GTA "feel" that all of the games from GTA III and beyond have, if you know what I mean.
Overall this game is TOTALLY worth the $7, and you'll have hours of enjoyment. So, if you're a big fan of GTA and want to kick it old school, then BUY THIS GAME ASAP.
No helpful updates
My old review:
Great old GTA VC but sometimes the app makes tommy run backward and you have to restart. The ambulance glitches out, stunt jump freezes in the slo-mo mode and you have to restart. Please fix, love this game.
Edit: Still extremely glitchy and laggy. Ambulance still appears and then disappears. Light posts fall down as I'm driving toward them (I'm not touching the posts and no other drivers are running into them either). Water/ocean shows through the floor in some sections and sometimes the entire ground/floor goes missing and everything is on water. Graphics were good but now the buildings and trees turn into blocks even when you're close to them. There's still been no fix to anything, so I will have to rate this a 1 star game. Again, I love this game, but it's clear to me that none of the glitches are ever worked on. If you want to play gta vice city, just get a gaming console cause the iOS version is nauseating.
