Simple yet satisfying

Grand Chase was a huge favorite from the old days when it was an arcade style action game. I’ll admit I was disappointed to find out that the return of GC was a gacha summoning RTS style game, and I expected the game to actually be terrible.

BUT it actually is a pretty good reinvention of the old game I knew and loved. While it is a gacha style game, the Pay-to-win feeling is very low (not non existent but better than other gacha games), there are more playable characters than the old game had, and the upgrading is a bit more forgiving than in the old game. The personalities of the new characters are just as memorable as the classics, and the story is fun to read especially if you’ve read all the story lore from the first game (though not required to enjoy it fully).

The game has definitely given me the nostalgic feeling I hoped for despite not being the same gameplay, and it’s definitely gonna be played for a long time.

If I had to give the developers some word of feedback, it would just be to make the fusions easier. It feels off putting to need to upgrade my fusion materials before tossing them into the fusion interface, and doesn’t feel necessary when the results are RNG anyways. If I were fusing two of the same exact characters for a better version it would be a different opinion, but I think it shouldn’t be as annoying if I’m throwing away the heroes I’m fusing anyway.

Long Live The Chase

As one of the OG Chasers that played the PC game. This is a very good mobile game. It isn’t Pay to win even though it’s a gacha game. I’ve spent most of my day sitting here playing and leveling up my party and even though I don’t have any of the original Grand Chase members, I AM ABSOLUTELY LOVING THIS GAME. I hope it can really revive the series and it can get back on PC but until then this game is where I Believe Grand Chase will live on. Also the packs where you pay money for Gems and such, those are well priced. And the fact that there’s multiple ways you can get SRs and basically everything in the game free is FANTASTIC. Please do not end up like other gacha games where it’s like $20 for 1,100 chrono crystals *cough cough* lookin at you Dragon Ball Legends... I encourage other OG Chasers to support this game it just may bring back our pride and joy that was PC Grand Chase. LONG LIVE THE CHASE!!!

Extremely Fun, interactive and DOES NOT rely on IAP

Most Freemium games take advantage of you by making it impossible to progress through the stories without spending a little bit of cash to match their steep difficulty curve.

This game has an amazing story, the characters are love-able, and the amount of details they point into the community is amazing. You can rate characters based off of their abilities and appearances which is very unique in these type of games.

It is a bit difficult to just pick up and play, but it’s worth sitting through the tutorials (15 seconds each) and to get the hang of them. The game doesn’t force you to pay money since they reward you a lot daily with items and a FREE summon. Most freemium games push you towards GRINDING or to pay money.

This game offers a fun experience that is NOT limited by energy or anything of that sort. You can literally sit down and play the game without being told to come back later when your characters are rested or whatever.

Seriously, other freemium games should take note of what these developers are doing. They’re not stingy, they have amazing stories, great characters, superb playability, and best of all a great community.
