Grandma makes learning fun!
Another fine quality app from this developer that is full of education and fun! My two boys, 4&6, love the Grandma & Grandpa apps and they are so happy to have added this great app to our digital collection. It was no surprise when both my boys became instantly engaged in this app as the boys love spending time in the kitchen with me helping to bake treats. My little guy loves seeing Grandma dance and enjoys giving her a kiss. I enjoy hearing Grandma's positive and encouraging words in each and every game, especially when my little one chooses an incorrect answer.
As a parent, there is so much to love and admire about this app. Not only is the educational content exceptional and fits the needs for both my boys, the settings option allow you to tailor the many games to each child's learning level. This quality feature is certainly appreciated as it allows different age groups to use, learn and enjoy the same app, a real bang for your buck! The real live videos in the app are a wonderful bonus. Given the high quality content and replay value, I would HIGHLY recommend this app!
Grandma\'s Kitchen is a great place to visit and practice counting, beginning blends in words, building compound words, patterning, identifying differences, alphabetizing and more. Children visiting Grandma will find her warm and inviting with her friendly voice and comforting appearance. She takes them through a fast paced series of varying activities, with breaks to watch live videos or time to help her prepare a recipe. Each task is accomplished quickly, errors gently corrected and success congratulated. This is a very nice app and will reinforce those early learning skills through the games. Children will want to return again and again to play in Grandma's Kitchen. Settings will show all the games which can be turned on or off. Locked access will allow adults to view additional apps for purchase. My hunch is users will want to download the additional apps featuring Grandma in her garden and Grandpa in his Workshop.
Love this app!
This app is great for my kids. My four year old is able to do a lot of it but it is still challenging for her. It is too easy for my six year old but he still likes to play it sometimes. They love it and it teaches so much! Lots of reading, spelling, alphabetizing, etc. They often choose to play this over the regular mindless games so it must be pretty fun for them. I love when I find a good educational app. This one is by far my favorite. And my kids' favorite too!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
