One of this years best
Excellent game in every respect. Graphics, music, sounds and gameplay. Elephant Games are truly becoming one of the best developers out there. And before everyone complains about the $6.99 price tag, consider that this game doesn't take any cost cutting shortcuts, like constantly reusing HOS (my pet peeve) and that new things don't mysteriously pop up in places you've already explored, because the environment is so large and rich. These are the hallmarks of cheaply produced games (even though many of them still charge $6.99). In addition this game gave me hours and hours of gameplay, compared to double this price for a ticket to the movies. So people, get some perspective and start thinking if something is worth the price, rather than automatically complaining.
To those people who complain about "wasting time having to go back and forth" I would say a) the whole purpose of a game is to waste time and b) explore the entire game and find the map which lets you instantly transport from one spot to another. Again, think a little.
The only improvement I would suggest is to label the inventory items. It must be something easy to do and would improve the quality of the play immensely.
One of the better games to come out in quite some time by BF! I do agree with some of the prior comments regarding the labeling of the inventory items. Sometimes you can't tell what it is, or there is some time that passes before you will need an item and forget what the item is because you can't recognize the item. So, as a courtesy to your players, just label the items, or when you touch the item a descriptor name comes up. Thankfully there is a map that allows you to travel back and forth to different locations because these games have a lot of back and forth to so many areas that it can become a bit nonsensical. May want to pull back on that a bit. Lastly, please lower your prices by a couple dollars! These games should really only be $4.00 to $5.00 dollars tops! Not $6.99+ taxes which makes the game almost $10 bucks. Too much for an online game that only lasts a couple hours and that's including the time spent playing the bonus game. I think more people would purchase these games if they were less and you would make up the money of lowering the cost in the volume of sales! Would recommend game to others, keep up the good work regarding quality of graphics, storyline, length of game and the level in which the puzzles are challenging!
This is a nice hidden object game, following the usual formula of search the rooms, find inventory, locate all the hidden objects. The hints are quite helpful and necessary since many moves have no logic to them. But, the price, even on sale is too high. $6.99 on sale. Big Fish stopped doing their semi annual sales and now has pushed all the prices too high for people to purchase. Only when people stop buying them will they realize that they're alienating their consumer base.
Update. Bought it for the LOW sale price of $2.99. Very happy with THAT price. The only regrets are: It has little or no logics to its moves. I kept having to ask for hints because you carried items forever, some places you tap don't become active until much later in the name. There are, also, a few typos. I find it strange that no one proof reads these before selling them. Also, the directions for several puzzles were SO bad I ended up skipping the game because I had no idea want to do.
But, it was worth the sale price I paid for it.
