You've just found the best, simplest contact manager for your iPhone.
Don't take our word for it. It's free -- see for yourself!
Group Contacts! lets you:
√ Group your contacts into Friends, Family, etc.
√ Easily create and manage groups of contacts
√ People can be in more than one group
√ Set an icon for each group - now w/more icons!
√ SMS or email a group of contacts easily
√ Attach images to your emails, use To | Cc | Bcc
√ Customize each text with the person's name, etc.
√ Set reminders to get in touch with people
√ Search within groups, by any attribute
√ Works with native iPhone groups
√ Takes advantage of the latest iOS features
√ Supports both iPhone screen sizes
Give our app the ability to access your contacts, or it obviously won't work. All it does is help you manage your address book locally on your phone, doesn't send them anywhere.
If you sync your contacts with Exchange, you won't be able to create new groups natively on the iPhone. Other group applications stop working at this point. We handle this by allowing you to create groups anyway, but they will only be accessible through our application. So even if you use Exchange to sync your contacts, you will be able to use this application.
What's New in Version 2.7
Improved startup instructions for new users
Fixed ability to update FAQ with new answers
Fixed URLs for reviewing the app
Improved batch handling for iOS 7.03 users
Really like this...
As a teacher, this app is definitely a major help in how I am able to send messages to my classroom parents and not having to worry about the parents seeing responses from other parents to me. My only issue is that with the 21 parents I have on the list, three batches normally go out with the message but one batch always seems to get dropped and not sent out. If this problem could be fixed or if I am doing something wrong please let me know. Thanks and keep up the good work!
Almost there but in a holding pattern
Group message function is cumbersome.. Have to turn off multi media messaging for it to work properly.
Lost about 600 contacts when I upgraded my iOS. App wasn't supported and the contacts created weren't synching properly with iCloud or the phone's stored contacts in general. This may have been fixed with the last update but was a terrible hassle.
Otherwise app runs much faster on iPhone5s and group functionality is much more usable than with the native iOS contacts.
This is an good program for grouping and is now more user friendly. It took me a while to learn it but I can now make some changes. Still having problems finding contacts when trying to add to groups because of them being uncategorized. Still can't find contacts at times when trying to group.
