Love it! But more options for polls
I love this app and the new polls option is great. I just want more customizability o be added. Being able to change the poll type to select multiple options and choosing if a poll is anonymous or not are two changes that would make it much more usable. For instance when asking what dates work at an event, having the group members choose two options if they can attend both dates. In that same scenario being able to see who can make what date, not just the number of people is helpful. Those are the two changes I can think of that would increase the polling function's functionality.
I also found a bug that when you post a poll it posts under your regular GroupMe name not your nickname for that chat.
That's all I got, love the app, love the update, just want a few changes. Thank you.
Edit: I thought of another change. Hiding the results of the poll until the end to eliminate voters being influenced by popular opinion.
90% Perfect
I use this app for almost all of my chat groups. Whether it's with my friends, with my family, or even my co-workers, this app is the perfect mix for it all.
I would give it a 5/5 but it has only one flaw. There is no way to set a group with only one leader. In the chat with my co-workers a few people like to mess around and kick others out for fun. As their boss I wish there was a way to give me adminship and make it so no others could do this, but that I had the power to give adminship to others. If GroupMe could add this it would be phenomenal!
Creative and useful feature
Texting at night, in bed, even on the lowest brightness setting hurts my eyes, especially with a background color of white. Let's you switch between a dark theme and light theme and you can set your preference as to when you would like for it to automatically change between each other. Every other app needs this.
You're able to hide conversations but not delete them. Hiding conversations puts them in an archive, which has no security lock on it and is easily accessible.
