Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series delivers a brand new story of the universe’s unlikeliest heroes, the rag-tag band of outlaws who go by the names Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot. In the wake of an epic battle, the Guardians discover an artifact of unspeakable power. Each of the Guardians has a reason to desire this relic, as does a ruthless enemy who is the last of her kind, and who will stop at nothing to tear it from their hands.

From Earth to the Milano to Knowhere and beyond, and set to the beat of awesome music, this five-part episodic series puts you in the rocket-powered boots of Star-Lord in an original Guardians adventure, told in the unique and award-winning Telltale style, where your decisions and actions will drive the path of the story you experience.

Includes Episode 1 in this all-new series from the award-winning studio, Telltale Games.

Exceptional 👏

This game was phenomenal. I have played the walking dead by telltale, and I like their game format of making tough choices between people. GOTG does that but also so much more. The music is perfectly fit into the story. For example, Stone Cold Crazy in Episode 4 really gets your blood flowing as you escape a giant worm monster. The characters are also great, they each act like they did in the movie which is great. I will go as far to say this was better than GOTG Vol2. The reason is Ego’s powers were somewhat unrealistic and unlimited, but Hala’s powers made sense because rules were set for what the forge can do. Also, I didn’t care for the music in the movies, but the music in this game is better. I really like this group of heroes and this game. There HAS GOT TO BE a season 2.

Glitches Galore

This game is riddled with glitches. First, graphical glitches are very obvious from seeing seams in a character geometry. You can see transparent lines through Drax’s chest, choppy animation and poor 3D work. All this can be looked past based on game play and story.

Game play, fairly smooth, I’ve played the Batman which feels heavily impacted by my choices. This game feels like my choices really have no impact to the story or the characters so it is basically a semi interactive story.

I did encounter a major glitch that happened in Episode 3 where my choice caused the game to freeze. I had to shut the app down and restart. For a game that is all about decisions the glitch limited me to make a decision barring the game freezing. This I argue is core mechanic of the game, broken. This same issue occurred later in that episode as well...

The story is good and the game is enjoyable but the product and polish feels rushed and sloppy with minimal interaction or weight to my decisions. Go play Tell Tale Batman, still not perfect but, much better!

I want my money back!!!!!$$$$

I bought all of the episodes for 15$ then I couldn't download episode 4 (5 isn't out yet) and worst of all I lost ALL OF MY PROGRESS!!!! I want my money back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit: I pay $0.99 for 50 GB a month and I don't have many games (in fact I deleted all my games to see if it would work because I loved the game so much) I ended up deleting the game because I couldn't download another game and i wanted to get this game called "VainGlory". I'll try again but if it happens again....well now I have no idea what's going on
