So far so good
I played guitar and bass for a while when I was younger, but never had any actual structure behind my learning. It mostly consisted of looking up tabs for various songs I liked and learning that. This is different, and I approve.
Only improvement I can say would be to enable gestures if possible, like page swiping or zooming etc… But that's not a deal breaker. 5 stars.
Looks like well put together content, but program is hogging CPU...
The program itself is running my MacBook Pro pretty hard though. Anytime I run the application the machine heats up and battery life is horrible. It is running about 50% cpu load constantly. Machine is running optimally for everything else that is installed. LIke the program, but definitely wish this issue gets fixed. I have i7 processor with 8GB of ram so I really do not feel the machine is inadequate either.
Guitar for Dummies
This app should be titled Beginner Guitar for Dummies. Its just simple chord progressions, no scales, time signatures or much else of anything. The songs are bland campfire songs. I went through it in 1 night and found it a complete waste of money. I am not a good guitar player and consider myself a hack.
