"Paper and pen at the range? Unnecessary. Gun Log lets you store all your firearm data…", American Warrior, issue Number 5.
Before you buy please go to the Developer Website and read about the App. The link is listed in the App Store. This app is not a simple list but instead an app that logs range results, ammo usage, firearms, ballistic drop tables, and has reports that allow you to analyze your shooting, firearms and ammunition, and improve your ability and to know what ammunition is reliable and accurate. You do not have to use all of the functionality, but it is there when you need it. Don’t let the low price fool you, this is a very complete range log and inventory app!
Gun Log tracks firearms, ammunition, configurations, failures, rounds fired, costs, accessories, etc., and even can calculate a ballistics drop table.
Gun Log will never allow email to access the data, use printing, or use cloud storage, just as promised. Many users are careful about where their private data is stored and Gun Log was made for those. It was promised that those features would never be added and that is the way it will be. Please be aware of this policy, it has always been this way.
Units are only in U.S. yards and inches. There is no metric or other measurement system support.

What's New in Version 8.0.2

Automatic scrolling of text field if the field appears under the keyboard.
Further support of iOS 8.
Works Great - Just learn how to use it.
I have entered many firing sessions and sets, all with photos of the targets. There hasn’t been any trouble. When picking ammo, if you don’t see it, just turn off the Caliber switch and select All. My bet is that anyone having trouble as either accidentally entered a different name for the caliber than what is listed with the firearm, or they accidentally entered the wrong amount of ammo purchased or used in a session. Read how the app works on the support site or email them. They will help you. I know that the app hasn't lock up for me.
No problems to report here, it is the most complete “gun log” I have seen. Thanks guys.
As I don't own reloads it is so awesome to cross check what I prefer for corresponding data that I had entered while either at the range or out in the field. Everything is at my fingertips
Great app! I've logged 4 guns and over 2 dozen sessions so far. Helps me track ammo, gun info, gun problems, accuracy etc. I've recommended it to all my family and friends! Exactly what I was looking for!
