Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
First, the app does not collect, mine, harvest or do anything with your data. Firearm information is just as sensitive as your social security number or credit card information.
Second, the app has a passcode. It is activated by using the iOS Settings App.
"Paper and pen at the range? Unnecessary. Gun Log lets you store all your firearm data…", American Warrior, issue Number 5.
Gun Log tracks firearms, ammunition, configurations, failures, rounds fired, costs, accessories, etc., and even can calculate a ballistics drop table.
Gun Log will never allow email to access the data, use printing, or use cloud storage, just as promised. Many users are careful about where their private data is stored and Gun Log was made for those. It was promised that those features would never be added and that is the way it will be. Please be aware of this policy, it has always been this way.
Units are only in U.S. yards and inches. There is no metric or other measurement system support.
Before you buy please go to the Developer Website and read about the App. The link is listed in the App Store. This app is not a simple list but instead an app that logs range results, ammo usage, firearms, ballistic drop tables, and has reports that allow you to analyze your shooting, firearms and ammunition, and improve your ability and to know what ammunition is reliable and accurate. You do not have to use all of the functionality, but it is there when you need it. Don’t let the low price fool you, this is a very complete range log and inventory app!

Gun Log versus Gun Log SPC
The differences are:
Gun Log cannot print or email, Gun Log SPC can print and email reports.
What's New in Version 9.0.2
Ballistic units are now reported in inches, MOA, and MILs. Improved UI for ballistic calculations.
So far so good
I have only just begun to use the app but so far so good. It is both simple but thorough.
LAST UPDATE DIDN'T LOAD
The latest update did not load correctly and now the ICON shows "waiting" even though it has been 2 days since it was updated.
Good but not great
Really like this app but disappointed that you can't sync with a website so you can have the logs on your phone as well as your iPad. Seems like a pretty simple option to me. Really like how it tracks your sessions and your ammo inventory. Come in guys, I'd pay extra for the ability to have the app on my phone and my iPad and sync between to two.
