Ethiopian cuisine typically consists of vegetable and often-spicy meat dishes, usually in the form of wot. Wot(wat) may be made from beef, lamb, chicken or even lentils.
Ethiopia food is eaten with the hands, using pieces of type of flat bread called injera. Diners tear off a piece of injera and the use it to scoop up or pinch off mouthfuls of food from a large shared platter and put it into his or her mouth and it is called Gursha. Gursha is an act of friendship and affection.
