Best Workout App!
I should preface this by saying I rarely write app reviews. This one deserves special praise for anyone looking for a well-designed fitness program.
I was looking for a workout app for the New Year to start Body-for-Life, a 12-week workout routine that combines cardio and weights. What makes BFL so successful is planning and recording your daily progress, as well as upping the challenge. The old way if doing that is keeping a notebook, but it works. This app nailed it and makes it fun!
With GymWizz it's so much faster and easier to set up a workout plan, and change it on the fly. It keeps track of your progress perfectly and prompts you to up your goals. Discovery of new exercises is very well implemented, which is especially helpful when traveling and your available equipment changes on you.
Great job to the developer and please continue to update this (although there is seriously not much to improve on)!
LOVE this app! Like having a trainer in your pocket. Perfect if you're following the Body For Life method, but also for anyone interested in interval training. Clear Instructions for each exercise, an in-app rest timer that allows you to keep your tunes pumping, automatic weight and rep instructions/tracking, cardio timer, a running log to track day to day progress - in short EVERYTHING you need for success at the gym. Simple to use and totally useful - what more could anyone ask for?!
Useful BFL App
This is one of the few useful BFL apps I've found. Nicely laid out and good control over the type of exercises I want to do. Not too sure about the subscription and sync to Facebook, however.
