Ever wanted to be a hacker? Play Hack RUN Lite! Hack your way into the heart of a mysterious organization to uncover their secrets. Hack RUN Lite is a game which uses 'old school' command prompts (like DOS or UNIX) that simulate a real operating system. Learn the commands of each system to help you navigate through your adventure.
As you hack into their systems, you will learn about the organization and the people who work there. Read files and emails to find clues and riddles which will give you access to more accounts. Data found on their systems will help you learn about the motives of the organization, and how dark their plans can get. You may also discover dirty little secrets about the employees as well.
Hacking into new accounts or discovering key information will increase your skill level. As you achieve your goals, you will move closer and closer to the final achievement; over 50 levels deep in the full version!

Love this game. Fun and works my brain.
Loving this hacking simulation game!
good puzzle game
It's a puzzle game with a hacking theme. No, you don't need programming or hacking experience. If you've ever used a shell or played a text adventure game and know basic computer knowledge (like what email and websites are) then you should be able to play this game just fine. You enter commands into a shell. Some are familiar to a unix shell (ls to list files, and help, but that's about it). You can type help at any time to list the commands available to you. It's pretty simple really. Read peopel's email and check their favorite websites in hopes of discovering what their password might be. It was simple and fun. I wish the puzzles were a bit more difficult to solve or took a few more steps, but overall it was fun.
