I love this company and their products. Beautiful fans. I have 2. I also have two lights in our entryway and they and their smart light technology are wonderful. Had some issues when we first installed them but had more to do with WiFi connectivity in our home which once that was remedied solved the problem.
The only issue that I have had is that they work amazing with Smarter Cooling setting and less so with Smarter Heat. We have a wood stove in one fan location and even with the heat from that increasing the room temperature it doesn’t seem to want to regulate as well. Not horrible but could be better.
I have just installed an Ecobee thermostat and am waiting to see if that will help to regulate it better once the cooler weather gets here again.
The reason I am still giving it 5 stars with this one drawback is that their support is the best I have ever dealt with. So beautiful products but one of the best companies that anyone could interacted with also.
Good, but could be so much better.
First off let me say that I love the actual fans, they look amazing and are almost completely quiet. I built a new home last year and bought six of the H/I series fans for my home and have been overall happy with them. The downside has been the software, rules are difficult to understand and seems random when they are actually applied, and I am a software developer so I should have a decent understanding. I’ve changed settings, reset devices and it still a mystery when things are going to work or not. I’ve called support, they didn’t give much feedback.
Now If haiku would allow third-party integration from IFITT or Apple HomeKit it would completely elevate my concerns, but for some reason they refuse. Please, please let us create schedules with third-party applications, your app just doesn’t do a great job with this.
L series Haiku fan
What a fan it’s beautiful it’s perfect. I was going to get a white one to blend in with the ceiling but at the last minute I ordered black to stand out showing their is a Haiku fan handling the airflow in the room. I’m glad I did this product is so impressive. After running all day and leaving the extremely bright lite on for a few hours I shut her down for the night I wanted to check how hot the unit got. The motor is pretty much sealed inside all of it’s covers not really any vents for motor heat. When checked the motor and light system were actually cool. Safety and peace of mind is what this purchase experience. Phone App easy to set up and easy to operate.
