STOPPP

I own this and upgraded to Run Coach Pro. Total cost around $12 if I remember correctly. In any case the programs had some small design and data flaws (like if you integrated with your phone calendar and then changed something you ended up with duplicate training programs daily for the rest of your training schedule and couldn't tell which one was the right workout). Despite the cost and the flaws I still used the program for nine months and multiple races (that is why I paid to upgrade to the "Pro" version) and was happy with the app. Imagine my surprise when these guys dropped the new 2.99 per training program charge on me. Come on....It is a software program that, with some design flaws and limitations, allowed me to design my own program. It is not like there is a live coach giving you a custom workout. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Run motivator

I use it on my ipod so no gps tracking. So far I'm happy with the training program but I have several weeks to go yet. Easy to follow and understand. I have no problem paying for a new training program if a previous one was completed but I think they should allow you to change from one plan to another without consequence if you are only a few weeks along. I thought I would be able to commit to 5 days a week but soon realized that was too much with my other workout regimen so needed a new plan after a couple weeks. Had to pay up again.

Horrible app

Stinks that I have to even give it one star. It doesn't deserve that. You can't change your plan or restart it without paying again. I tried several times to set a long run day for Wednesday, but with a final event day of Saturday it wouldn't let me do it (but of course charging me $0.99 every time I tried). A huge waste of money ever buying this app, and I'm furious I ever did. It's completely inflexible. If you missed some time in your training you can't reset your plan or even go back to where you were and pick-up where you left off. You have to pay to start all over. A huge rip-off. I think I deserve my money back.
