You can now play the challenging card game Hand and Foot on your mobile device! Hand and Foot is compelling card game where each player is dealt two decks of cards: one 'hand' and one 'foot'. The object of the game is to build melds of cards to form 'books' which are groups of seven or more cards, score as many points as possible, and play all of the cards in your hand and foot decks as quickly as possible. The best Hand and Foot players are those who can accumulate large point totals and quickly go out which traps the other players with cards in their hands and thus leaves them with negative points.

What's New in Version 4.5
I am enjoying this app, and have played Hand and Foot in "real" life. I find it interesting that those "players" on this app have different rules than I do. If I take from the discard pile, I get the next 4 cards from the discard pile. If one of the other "players" takes from the discard pile, they get 4 new cards. I'd pick up if I didn't know how many red 3's were in the cards I was getting. Also, I have to have 2 of a card in my hand to pick up, but the other "players" can pick up at any time. And...the other "players" can be out of cards, but NOT out of the game if they have not fulfilled their books. If I try to do same, I get told I can't do that. Can I switch places with those other "players" lol But I do find that I have to use more strategy and be aware of my game especially since there is no talking or interaction like playing for real. If it weren't for the differences in the rules, which is confusing at times, I'd have given it 5 stars. I'd also like to have the option to play partners as I have done in real life. For the money, it helps me work on my skills.
One handed play
I love hand and foot and grew up playing it. I spend a lot of time at night when I can't sleep playing this game. One thing that could greatly improve the app is developing it in such a way that you only need 1 hand (the hand you hold your phone with) to play. I currently have to use both hands and my wrists start hurting after a short while. One way this could be done is to be able to "double tap" to draw cards rather than having to drag down. Same with discarding.
Also I found out on accident a way someone could cheat. I was placing 2 wild cards down to get into my foot. My finger slipped as I placed the 2nd wild card...resulting in the wild card being added to a meld I wanted to keep clean. My foot opened and out of frustration and without thinking I dragged down on the wild card and it actually let me take that wild card out and put it into my newly opened foot without having to play it. This would not be allowed in the standard game.
Hand and foot card game
When my opponents want to make a book, sometimes they only have to have six cards instead of seven. Also, when melding, my opponents' cards jump two or three times as if they are melding but nothing different shows on their board yet the cards are no longer in their hand. When the opponents pick up the pile, they draw from the draw pile rather than the discard pile from which I have to draw. I realize this is a computer game but let's try to make it a bit more even. I enjoy playing this game very much. Thank you, Sam75
