By Matthew Kandler
Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
HappyFeed is a private journal to help you focus on the little things that make life great. Record just three moments each day to start feeling happier.
- Each day record three short, positive moments
- Add photos to bring your moments to life
- View any past day to remember your best moments
- Fully private: no public posting, sharing or following
An account is required in order to keep your moments safe and to allow you to view and manage them across multiple devices. Your location may optionally be recorded to provide you with meaningful data on the places, people, and things that help you find happiness.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. (With optional setting for adding location to your moments.)

Great daily exercise, but needs improvement...
I wrote a review two years ago about how much I love this app – still going strong! It definitely keeps me mindful of the positive things in daily life, big and small. However, as many users have suggested, the app should allow you to edit missed days. I really want to urge the developers to be mindful of this need. It's a huge bummer to break a long streak due to an abnormally busy few days. It makes me feel bad and anxious when I can't record a fun memory from two days ago and now have to start a new streak. Please make this possible!
Uplifting and Grounding
What you pay attention to, you get more of, and this app helps you to live a life of gratitude and abundance. I love that you can record your happy moments in real time, and even snap a pic to go with it. Later on, you can scroll your happiness feed, and in doing so you are reminded of just how blessed you are. This app is easy to use, and it has already added so much brightness to my day. Rather than scrolling social media, I scroll my own happiness feed, or add something to it. Love.
Good but needs improvement
I like the app overall and it serves the basic purpose that it's meant to. However I think it needs improvement in some areas. For example, you can set a notification to remind you to fill out the day but if you've already done it, the app sends you a notification anyway. As others have mentioned, there's also no way to edit past entries or fill in a day you missed. Updating these aspects of the app would make it a lot more user friendly.
