Magical with a Few Hiccups

This app is well done given that it is FREE and I have no trouble at all progressing through the game without spending RL money. I do not spend any gems on micro-transactions, and I can appreciate the story just fine (even if I don’t have a pet owl). This isn’t a very personalized RPG, but I’m okay with that because I still like the characters and the story. The classes don’t require much actual skill, but I don’t mind that, and it’s fun to do the Harry Potter trivia. The game shines through with all the different characters and how you have to pay attention to the details of their personality to succeed in some side quests. Also teacher interactions and house points can depend on what response you choose, and motivate you to increase your empathy knowledge or courage. People complain about the energy situation, but honestly I’m almost done with year 1 and I’ve been playing for a week. Having to wait for my energy is more realistic, and forces me to slow down and enjoy it rather than plow through. And I found some ways to get more energy and play smart so that I can minimize waiting time. If you had unlimited energy, then the game would have to restrict some other part of the game so they can make money by forcing people to pay - I’m willing to learn some patience instead of paying money. Overall, really fun, interesting story, and I’m very addicted. I keep checking to see when they update with the next year because I can’t wait to play!

Awesome!!✨💜💜🎏

Great Game!

This is probably one of my most favorite game and time passer I’ve ever had! The quality is amazing, and the storyline and plot is great too! I love how you get to go to each professors class and learn about all the spells and potions, etc. I also like how they added some rivalry into the game (you’ll figure out once you play), it makes it more interesting. One thing that I don’t like though is that the energy runs out VERY fast. As you level up the energy limit gets a little higher but still it runs out within minuets once you start a lesson or activity. And it takes about a little over an hour to refill, and by the time it refills, your activity is over and you have to do it again because you couldn’t complete it. One thing I recommend though if you’re going to play this game, make sure you’ve read the books because whenever you’re in class, the professors will ask you questions regarding that class and the answers to those questions will be found in the books, for example: (In Madam Hooch’s Class: What do you say to summon your broom without grabbing it? The answer is “up”) but if you haven’t read the book you wouldn’t know that because in the first book it says that in there. Other than that, this is great game. I recommend this game to all of the Harry Potter lovers out there! (But be aware that when you play, you won’t go to Hogwarts with Harry and everyone else, the storyline takes place before Harry Potter arrives at Hogwarts).

needs some things

The game is fun and I enjoy playing it when I'm able, but there are a few things that really frustrate me and make me disinterested from continuing to play/getting invested enough to spend real money in the game.
The main thing is the energy. GOD the energy. It goes WAY TOO FAST. And I get that's the point so people will end up buying more, but when you can't even complete ONE CLASS most of the time, even having gone into it with a FULL bar of energy, is just too frustrating. I want to play more but literally the game is like this- you play for 2-3 minutes and then wait an hour or more for your energy to recharge so you can play another 2-3 minutes, and even then it's just senseless tapping that isn't any different than the last time.
That being said, if the energy is going to deplete so fast and often like that then there NEEDS to be an option to purchase infinite energy for a set amount of time. Whether you buy it with in-game coins/gems or real money, the option needs to be there. I would definitely do this, probably multiple times in order to actually be able to sit down and play the game. (unless it was like $10 or something ridiculous like that.)
But I enjoy the bit of plot that I do know about and am intrigued to see what happens next, especially since you seem to be able to follow your character through all their years at Hogwarts.
Anyway I really hope what I've suggested gets incorporated, thank you for taking the time to read.
