GREAT GAME FOR TABLET!!!! BUT....NEEDS NEW STUFF AND ITEM UPDATES!!!!!
Pros and con if you want this game!!!!
First It's way to easy you get all of your tools off the bat no effort at all just talking to people, and easy access to everything not to mention bonus items every time you do something it makes boring....also ALL the fruit is purple which is really boring making me not want to even collect it (hoping this can be fixed with an update) haven't discovered if you can get married yet but I'm assuming you can..... And unlike the ds games you can't see the characters faces when you talk to them in the game (also a bummer because that was a key thing to the other games)....also can't catch bugs (if you can I haven't figured it out yet lol) I will admit It's a great storyline and unique idea for a tablet game five stars for getting an ACTUAL Nintendo game for tablet!!!!!!! I'll give it props great touch controls and game style for walking and using tools and really fun hopefully I'll discover more and the game gets updates and new features (animals,minerals,new places to visit, new things to do....ect...) added this game I have to say it was pretty pricey for the graphics considering I can buy another game at this price and get great graphics. OVERALL great game but needs new stuff and updates!
Love it but lacks
So I am having a hard time figuring out which plants grow best in which season, there doesn't seem to be any information within the game for this until after you harvest stuff. Which I've knocked off s star for. Also, they've finally fixed the axe bug, but by that time I already upgraded my house all the way and every other building. Do the harvest sprites even do anything? Do certain bachelors help out around the farm? I like being able to find all the towns people and not go hunting everyone down. Why can't I upgrade my tools past gold? And why can't I propose to the male witch even with the blue feather at 5 hearts? Also, there's no way to make seeds or flour or make more recipes yet, some of the ingredients for sale for food don't even make anything. I would pay a little extra for a walkthrough to reference back to, to at least know what they're supposed to have in the game. This version lacks other places to go and truly helpful information. At least one witch tries to tell you what people like.
Ups and downs
At first I was incredibly excited for a harvest moon game (I played the N64 one). The first week of playing was everything I remembered it to be, but it got slow quick. There is a lack of activities, such as festivals being a bit boring (after the first time participating I did not do them again) and the other characters are not interesting. All this I can get over but the problem with the game now is that there are still parts that do not work! One problem was apparently rare for users ( the worried citizen not working) ok fine, but the other resets the stats for flowers grown and you cannot finish the memory for it.
This was a great nostalgia game, I could have even been excited if there was another made in the future, but with glaring problems still present and zero mention of fixes I won't be purchasing another. Bottom line is this wasn't a complete waste of 10 dollars but I won't be interested in anything else made.
*If you do like the farming sim games definitely try stardew valley for pc, it is everything I hoped and dreamed for harvest moon!
