Works fine and it’s free
I just installed it to check the SHA256 checksum on a download, and it seemed to work perfectly. It’s great (especially for long 256 hashes) that it includes a comparison checker—accessible through the button with the left and right arrows—that lets you paste in the published checksum and click a button to see whether it matches the generated one. The only minor issue is that the main dropdown window obscures browser windows and the app’s own popups until you either drag them to another area of the screen or just click the [#] symbol in the status bar to retract the dropdown. For occasional use that’s not a big deal, and given that it’s free I’m going to give it five stars.
Works Great! Exactly What It Says It Does!
App works great, exactly what I need and what it says it does.. perfect! Thanks
Same as last Poster. Will not run in Sierra 12.6. Won’t even open.
My title says it all. If you are running OSX12.6 don’t bother.
