I don’t understand
I’m reading reviews and I’m so confused... I’ve never had any of the troubles I’m reading (although I usually watch from home so I can’t speak to off WiFi much). Of all the streaming/casting apps I have this one has the best quality. The only reason I’m deleting a star (which seems quite trivial now that I’m reading all the reviews) is that when I’m casting something, no matter how I navigate, I can’t add the very bottom episode/etc to my list, read a preview or anything. It being in bottom, when the strip at the bottom is playing something or is on for whatever reason, you can only play the bottom choice, which makes it difficult when you’re trying to add something to your watch later list. You have to stop your program and go back in. Then go out. And replay. But wow! 😮 I’m so surprised everyone is having so much trouble. Cox, it maybe you can read through the complaints, figure out what the most common problems are and post something instructing people how to use it. Again, my works fine. There’s no reason everyone else should not have the same service that they ARE PAYING FOR.
Unlike any other mobile streaming service, this app only works when connected to WiFi, which completely defeats the purpose of a mobile streaming app. Throughout multiple attempts, and in conjunction with experiments using other streaming apps (including HBO Now, which is actually a really great mobile streaming app,) this app fails each and every single time.
There is zero use and purpose for this app; so do not sign any contracts (e.g.: AT&T) thinking that this service will fe worthwhile, because I guarantee disappointment. This app cannot even be used to stream to your other devices via AirPlay, because it seems that AirPlay has been specifically disabled by the developers.
In essence, this app is nearly useless, and can be chalked as a complete failure. The developers should not only all be fired, but should also be subjected to harsh monetary fines for their lack of competence. If you want a good streaming app, look to HBO Now, Starz, Netflix, or pretty much nearly everything else in the App Store.

Could be so much more
Yes, it does let me watch HBO on the GO but it requires either WiFi or cellular. Even with the “WiFi only” selected it will just give notification and if you click it off, it will just use data... the app needs offline playback soooo bad. The rating is based on the lack of that feature. The menu is what it is, could also be a lot better but the one thing I’d love to see is offline playback. The data use per episode is roughly 0.75GB and unless you’re on an unlimited plan, that will add up super quickly. Even if you only allow downloads for original content (like Netflix does) it would be worth it since that’s what most of us are here for anyways.
