Time for a Serious Update
Why does this app have to be this bad? As many reviewers have pointed out - this app is archaic. It does not keep what you are binge watching on top or recommend things to you based on your viewing pattern.
Fast forwarding is an adventure. Unexplainably the app will crash in the middle of a show. When you open the app it only shows vertically - why?!!! Once you get into a show you can flip it to however you want to view but just annoying.
HBO has fantastic content, but the app needs a serious update!
Worst streaming app ever.
I love my HBO shows, and this app is so bad that I almost can't keep watching them. I usually watch HBO Go through Chromecast, and if I navigate away from the HBO Go app at any point while it is playing something, when I come back to it, I cannot pause, stop or restart, even when I disconnect or even close the app completely. It defies the laws of computer science in the worst of ways. I end up very frustrated anytime I dare to watch a show on this app.
Embarrassing
Fire your programers. This app has always been buggy, but the last two "bug fix" updates have made it useless. It freezes on the launch screen more often than not. The buttons stop working when it connects to chromecast. Did anyone bother to test it? Have you bothered putting a dime into this? I'm a pretty crappy programmer and this app makes me feel competent.
