Very little content and needs design improvements
Please improve the readability of this "encyclopedia" the text butts right against the images, have you not heard of padding the images to give it a uniform appearance? Also white text on a light blue background is terribly hard to read, if your going to call your app an encyclopedia at least make the text easy to read, nothing wrong with black text on a white background that is made to read well. I will rewrite my review if its improved. Obviously this developer doesn't care to read the comments reviewed post because nothing has been done to the app to improve the readability. The content is really lacking and missing the field guide information most people would want to have to identify birds and their scientific information. Don't waste your $$$
Coffee Table Book for iPad
While the presentation is nice the content is slim. Very few species covered. Educational level grades 1-4. No common pet birds covered. Very limited information. Needs much more content to be called an encyclopedia. Limited educational value. Not in the class of a dollar children's Golden Book.
NOT an encyclopedia.
This is not an encyclopedia, and it is not even even a basic guide. It's just a few brief chapters on various general subjects about birds. No search function. Glad I only spent a dollar, but even so it's not worth it.
