Head for Twitter
Open the Mac App Store to buy and download apps.
Head for Twitter is a new way to access your Twitter. Doesn't have enough space for a menubar app? Not a problem. We introduce Head that will stick on edges of your screen.
Head icon will always on top of other applications so you can always click on head icon no matter what you are doing and then you can access your Twitter.
Using physical principle, you can drag Head to anywhere and it will be pulled to the edges of screen naturally and smoothly.
- Switch between Mobile and Desktop mode
- Auto hide Head when inactive eg. for watch movie
- Blur or Darken background when activate Head
- Head can be dragged and pulled using physical principle
- Stealth mode : set transparency of Head window

Great app for vieiwng Twitter
This is by far the best and most convienent app I've used for viewing Twitter. I'm always looking for ways to access social networks easily without using a web browser. Menubar apps don't feel native and I flat out don't like them. Head for Twitter (as well as Facebook, Instagram, & Gmail) is a great way to view Twitter (or any other social network) when you'd like to, while staying transparent when you're doing other things. Keep up the good work SquidMelon!
Needs a Few Adjustments.
I like the concept. I bought the Facebook, Twitter and Instagram Heads. It'd be great if they all worked the same. Facebook and Instagram auto hide feature doesn't work. Instagram and Twitter don't display profile photos as the head. Twitter has an option to Show Menu Icon but Facebook and Instagram do not. Also, it'd be nice to push the heads to the back as I don't always want them covering other apps. I'm hoping there will be updates.
More Useful Features
So far I like the Head apps for Twitter and Facebook better than other options. However, they do need to be consistent which they are not and there are a few features that would make them perfect. The fact that they come out of hiding every single mouse move is annoying and the inability to have them rest below other apps (such as a browser window) is quite annoying as well.
- Option to keep in dock
- Menu Bar Option
- Option to keep in background and not show on top of ALL apps.
- Notifications (hate having to click on it to see updates so even a badge notification would be great).
