Description

Create your own headlines and teach people to stop taking news at face value.

2016 was the year fake news exploded and provoked real-life consequences. We needed to teach people to read with a critical eye.

So, we put a spin on the English alphabet and literally turned it on its side. Each character was rotated 90° and designed to be deciphered – to make you look, think and learn. Some characters are easier to recognize and those characters will help the reader recognize the more difficult ones. Much like deciphering the news itself, we need to take the time to look closer.

Educational about news literacy

Fantastic app. Children must be educated about news literacy. The fascinating font is symbolic of how we must analyze what we read in different ways, and think critically. Check out their website, thenewsliteracyproject.org
