What's New in Version 3.8.3
Keep checking in each day of Ellen’s 12 Days of Giveaways to try out one of our most popular decks for FREE, and enter to win amazing gifts from the show! Plus, Holiday Bundles are back starting December 9! Get ready to bundle up with some great deals on our favorite decks. Happy holidays!
I've often just gotten the free one. Now that's all I'll download
I've downloaded the free knock-off version and the ads were annoying. I decided to pay for Ellen's because I've heard such great things. It turns out you have to pay additionally for each deck and there are still tons of ads that you have to wait for and scroll through before you can play. Sometimes, while you're playing, an ad will interrupt your game and you have to start all over. You can't play that trial deck again unless you pay the dollar for the 30 second quiz. It's greedy and stupid. I'll just play the free knock-off version of this game. It's basically the same thing.
Heads Up is not worth your dollar, get Charades!
You only get a few categories free with your $0.99 purchase, and will have to buy so many others if you want any variety at all. Plus there are too many glitches, such as, you have to tilt your phone exactly right or it doesn't register whether you got it right or passed but it still uses up your time. I downloaded "Charades" which is basically the same game - it's free and has no glitches, a lot more free categories, and the longer you play, you get coins - free - that you can unlock other categories.
Great for every occasion
Ad free and with a great collection of decks to start you off. There are even free decks that appear every once in a while. You do have to pay for additional decks but, I use it so much at family gatherings and parties that it's absolutely worth it for me. Again, it does start you off with a handful of decks.
