Your Headspace subscription will automatically renew at the end of each term and your credit card will be charged through your iTunes account. You can turn off auto-renew at any time from your iTunes account settings but refunds will not be provided for any unused portion of the term.

Rebirth & New Way of Life

Reviews can be overstated in general but not this one. Headspace has changed my life - 100%. Headspace & Meditation entered my life at a time of deep emotional pain - mother had been suicidal, as well as both my father & step mother developing cancer. I happen to also be in a career transition at that same time; all w/in 1 year. I was lost as a man internally, depressed and wondering what has my life become & what am I really all about. Within 10 days of starting Meditation I knew it was for me. Developing a consistent practice also helped me heal and forgive others from a childhood of physical & verbal abuse; deep rooted emotion that I didn't even realize was so strong and REAL. Headspace has made such an impact on my life that I decided to pursue MBSR training through Emory University as well as other professional training so that I can teach others and help people connect with who hey really are, what they really feel, and that that is perfectly yet simply/beautifully Ok. I don't know where my life would be without Headspace & Meditation. I love it and am so grateful for what Andy P. & the Headspace team have put together. I have never been so connected with who I am as a person, connected with my purpose & future goals - most importantly connected with life on a second by second Present moment way of living. Making Life Simpler.

I'm only 18 years old, almost 19, and throughout my life I've dealt with several family related hardships. My mother is a narcissist that constantly has to worry and stress over everything, I've moved back and forth from city to city in my high school years until I landed in another city for my freshman year of college. My mother disowned me right after my 18 birthday and graduation party then kicked me out of our new house in November of 2016. I lived with my friends and basically finished off my semester of college to only stress about how the heck i'm going to afford it on my own the next semester. Throughout this time, my grandmother, whom I've lived with my entire life with alongside my mother, was told she has two brain tumors back in June. She moved out of my home town and childhood home across the state of Texas to live with my aunts in Dallas as opposed to Laredo. I've recently been involved in a major car accident that resulted in my mothers car spinning out in the middle of 8am traffic and it being declared a total loss. All of this has been extremely stressful and I've some how managed to keep calm and take things step by step. I've downloaded this app to help reminded me of that method and it's helped me tremendously. I showed it to my mom in hopes of her to use it but she is very stubborn, hopefully she will eventually use it and it will help her take a step back from everything and calm her down.

What happened to the surrounding content?

Been a premium user for a few months now and overall this app has been great. However the additional tab of quotes and content, access to articles was recently removed (the view?). I'm sure any analysis of usage would suggest this was a seldom used feature but it's one of those things that become habitual for those who do access it, and it really helps make the app a multiple-visit experience beyond the actual practice. I credit the product team for providing ample warning and even a modal on launch that directs users to the blog with the latest update, but I still think improvements can be made. First, there isn't a way to easily access the blog from within the app - a menu shortcut would be a huge help. Second, please keep the notification content fresh. I love the little reminders that are sent and I'm using them as a substitute for the surrounding content. But I dialed up the frequency setting to give this morning and saw a repeat notif from yesterday when I received three. So that tells me the content well isn't deep enough...yet. I'm only providing two stars so that anyone monitoring reviews might see it and take these suggestions into consideration but again I am still actively using this great app for its core benefits. Keep it up guys!
