Your Headspace subscription will automatically renew at the end of each term and your credit card will be charged through your iTunes account. You can turn off auto-renew at any time from your iTunes account settings but refunds will not be provided for any unused portion of the term.

Great app--with some minor complaints

Very impressed with the design of this app. I've been meditating (on and off) for five years, and the way this app is designed, with a visual timeline right on the homepage, and fun animations every few days, makes it easy and fun, and enticing to WANT to keep going. Brilliant!

I love that there are "singles" for different uses, and different series after the foundation series, too.

My complaints so far:

- Every single animation "protagonist" (EVERY) has been male and Caucasian, even though they are animations! Seriously??? Come on, guys! They don't even have to be human and you make ALL of them white guys?? Fail.

- I wish there were an ability to change the length of individual sessions, rather than only by the entire series. It seems I can switch all ten sessions to be 10, 15, or 20 minutes long. But I'd like to be able to adjust the length of a session on a daily basis.

I've only had the app for about two weeks, and it got me to sign up for the free 30 day trial. Very well thought out! Looking forward to digging in more!

Very restrictive

So, in a way you are held hostage to doing the meditations in the order they want you to. You MUST do the 3 levels of beginning which add up to about 45 hours before you can move to another section. If you decide to forego listening to all 900 minutes the app states you'll lose your progress. Why does it matter? If I listened to 600 minutes why can't I try something else and come back where I left off?? This is true with every section. You cannot move from one to the other without completing all 45 hours in each. The singles are ok but what a gyp. It seems weird that they've decided you can only do it their way. It's my money I paid for full access and yet I can only listen from the start of every section if I leave to try another one. Not worth it. Don't buy.

Love this app!

I have never meditated in my life, but have found this app very helpful in settling my mind. A very busy and stressful work schedule and life keeps my mind racing most times. Focus and sleep become difficult. Just spending a few calm and peaceful minutes each day becoming aware of the body, the minds desire to run free, and our ability to gently gain more control of our powerful mind is an awesome experience. I find myself looking forward to the next day and the next session.
