The subscription will automatically renews unless turned off in your iTunes Account Settings at least 24 hours before current period ends. You can go to your iTunes Account settings to manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew. Your iTunes Account will be charged when the purchase is confirmed. If you subscribe before your free trial ends, the rest of your free trial period will be forfeited as soon as your purchase is confirmed.

Headspace also offers a Forever subscription which is paid for by a one-off upfront payment of $399.99 with unlimited access to the Headspace Collection forever.

A true believer!

At first I thought meditation was a bit woo woo, but had been hearing good things about it, so decided to give it a try. I didn’t quite get how just “breathing” was going to do anything! Well, how wrong I was! It’s been a couple of years now, and the skills I’m learning have made a profound difference in my life. I used to be at mercy to every passing thought...grasping after the positive and running away from distressing thoughts. The idea of being mindful was completely foreign to me. Then slowly I began working with the Headspace private and in my own timing...and slowly I began to learn very simple, but powerful techniques that have been profound in my life. Noting, neutral thinking, visualization, body scans, acknowledging feelings while not identifying with them...useful techniques I’ve learned that have led to mental strength and toughness. The more I practice the stronger I become. I liken it to the exercises we do with our bodies to build physical strength and toughness. We all know that by doing specific techniques such as jumping jacks, push ups, burpees and squats we build physical strength. So it is with the Headspace App, it has specific meditations that instruct and has the meditator practice skills that build mental and emotional strength. It doesn’t hurt that Andy has such a kind, supportive voice and lovely English accent, either! 😊 No pressure...ever. Kind of like a really good friend.

A life-changer for an anxiety-ridden college student

I usually wake up with a lot of anxiety—sometimes it’s about something in particular, and sometimes it feels like it’s happening for no reason at all. When I started headspace I was going through a really tough time, was waking up later and later just so my days would be shorter, and was overall just trudging through my days in a way that felt awful. I was looking for a way to start my day on a more motivated foot than my mind seemed to want me to. This has worked wonders. I’m able to get up earlier and start the day feeling ready for what’s coming instead of having the horrible pit in my chest I used to have every day. Headspace has taught me how to take a step back, breathe a little deeper, and be okay with feeling things, which I really wasn’t letting myself do. The night casts have also been wonders at helping me get to sleep within minutes. Overall my productivity has shot up and so has my happiness (I don’t even cry during arguments anymore lol). Seriously, it’s played a huge role in balancing my emotions and managing my anxiety. I highly recommend headspace and incorporating mindfulness into your daily life. ALSO: college students get access to all headspace sessions for only $9.99 a year so PLEASE take advantage of that so they keep it 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
