Go to your regular doctor
My wife had my kid try one of these doctors and was very happy. I tried to have them come out for me a week later. The first time I tried to order a Dr. the app shows all appointments taken for every day. Then I waited till morning to call, I scheduled an appointment for the evening (4-6) because they could not come in the morning which is what I originally wanted. Then at noon I get a text saying they could not find a Dr. and I have to wait till Monday. Then 40 min later I get a message saying they are going to make it out. Then I get a message at 3 saying the Dr is on their way which is an hour early, so I rush to get home. Then right when I get home 15 min later I get a call saying no Dr. can come till Monday morning. I WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER OFF GOING TO URGENT CARE!!! Their whole thing is they can come to you, weekends or when ever. Instead what they do is make you waste your weekend and not be able to see a Dr. either. Maybe they should change the apps name to Heal, If You Are Lucky! What a joke!
Heal replacing my doctor forever
Great experience with the heal app. I can never get an appointment with my doctor for weeks but with heal I can get an appointment the same day. Instead of driving across town, battling traffic, and paying for parking, I can just relax on my couch and watch tv while I wait for the doctor, or even nap quietly. No more worrying about germs from the waiting room, or waiting to go from waiting room to waiting room to speak with the doctor for 10min. With heal he doctor is caring and attentive, and always gives me enough time to answer all my questions. They even do prescriptions and labs. It's better Jan my regular doctors office in every way.
Heal has replaced my old doctor - they are now my fulltime doctor and I can't wait to use the service again.
I used the app for the first time about a month ago to get seen in LA for cough cold type of symptoms. I did the whole heal thing because it was cheap. After requesting the visit I got no confirmation and even a call for over a hour I waited. I finally cancelled. I think all this app does is just ping a whole bunch of doctors that are on call like Uber and who ever wants to take it clicks accept. I tried to call but it's like all other tech companies, no answer and you never get a live person. I called another service and got a live person who triaged the situation and sent out a provider. My advise would be to others is that healthcare should not be run by a machine. Not sure how this company is evaluated at 3 million and runs like this. Poor user experience.
