You can set a weekly goal for each activity you see in the Health Mate app, whether tracked automatically with your Withings device, or logged manually.
Limited to its own products
The app does a great job importing weights from the Withings scale. But that's about it. I know, they're trying to sell their own stuff, but come on. It tracks steps for me... But only steps taken with my iPhone. It ignores steps taken with other products, just fitbit or apple watch. So, it tells me I'm constantly falling short of my 10k step goal because I only get a few hundred with my phone in my pocket. Ignores the run I did in the morning, or walking the dog in the afternoon, because even though those steps were tracked and imported into health kit, Withings ignores them.
So, I'll continue to use the app to move weight data from my scale to health kit, and I'll use a different app altogether to actually keep track of my health and recommend improvements. If I could get my weight data into health kit without this app, I would do so in a heartbeat. But I don't want to waste more money on another scale by another company.
Works great with WS-50
If I had a manual scale, I would most probably never use it, and if I did, I surely would not write down my weight. Just having a scale that I can step on in the morning, have IT record my weight, tell me if I am up or down, and by how much, then also measure my daily activity, (walking for now), along with daily measurements for morning heart rate, this really makes a difference in my living a healthy lifestyle, and for a minor investment.
Overall good, but needs more features
Overall I think the app is good and it helps me keep track of what I'm doing. One of the biggest things I would like to see is that the activity tracked within the app also shows in the dashboard to show how you're doing with the activity. Right now, only activity tracked in RunKeeper counts towards this. I would like to only have to use one app. Also, it would be nice to have the food tracking built into the app. Right now I have to use 2 outside apps to be able to really get a full picture.
