Great affordable care


HealthTap is probably the most affordable app for psychiatry. I haven’t found any other that’s comparable. I been seeing the same psychiatrist on the app for over a year. I have run into some issues such as accidentally having consult with a doctor that’s not licensed in my state so they couldn’t prescribe me medicine. They were only able to advise me which pretty much wasted my money because i needed a refill. Customer service was kind enough to refund me for my mistake. So far all my issues that I encountered customer service has been amazing. It’s not a perfect app but having good customer service and affordable doctor care will keep me coming back. They do offer some subscription/pay-as-you-go plans. Because I pay an annual fee, seeing a physician is discounted. If you do not have health insurance or home bound, these health apps are great.

No help after money is taken.


Prescription was out of stock at all pharmacies, since it is an online consult there is no doctor to call to change it to a lower dose to get it now. Called customer support to try to get some help and was told it was not their fault and I would have to pay another fee to get the prescription changed. Which is annoying, but not a huge deal. It was the incredibly rude “helper” on the phone who really set me off. To already be sick and frustrated and then be told to basically go screw myself is a joke. Can’t have sympathetic customer service? Then watch your reviews go right down the toilet.

Decent but


App was good and interface was good. Doctor was good - friendly, helpful, listened carefully, talked as long as I wanted. However, he wasn't sure about how the patient side of the app worked. Not his fault. We assumed I'd be able to continue the convo at a diff time and that's how we left off - that'd id update the next day and see if his suggestions helped. But I can't do that because it wants me to pay again.
