Bug Fixes and Other Improvements
Decent Site, Crappy App
The site itself is decent and easy to navigate, although not everything is explained well or properly. There are a bunch of different types of challenges but they aren't properly explained until after you join them and then they either don't let you leave the challenge when you find out what it actually is (like a team challenge when it was advertised as an individual challenge), or they make it painstakingly difficult to leave.
The app is not easy to understand. Nothing is labeled so you have to go around clicking all the buttons to figure out what may be behind each symbol and the information you should have handy and be able to access readily is unavailable, such as your wager, your starting weight, your ending weight, etc.
The ONLY benefit to downloading the app is that you can do your verified weigh-ins via home video from your phone instead of going to a gym/doctor/nutritionist to get it done.
I wouldn't keep the app if it wasn't for that feature, there's no other use for it because everything I need to know I have to go to the computer website for anyways.
Love the idea, HATE the app
If you expect this app to give you any information, you are sadly mistaken. You can log and track your weight, and that is the only redeeming feature.
Want to know how much you need to lose to reach goal? Fat chance - this is not tracked anywhere.
Want to know WHAT YOU WAGERED IN THE FIRST PLACE? There's nowhere to look that up. It only shows you start dates and end dates. Not your wager per month, not your goal weight, not "weeks left," etc.
Of course you can compute all of this yourself, but apps are supposed to make things like that automatic and easy.
Only the first day. We'll have to see how it goes through the next three months. So far so good though
