Good But Frustrating...

It's great to play multiplayer, though waiting for players to go can be brutal. I can't tell if it's the players being slow, a 3G connection issue, the game server, or a combination, but during a slow game you can wait 15 to 30 seconds for one or two players consistently, per discard, and that can easily make a game drag on and on.

Often the long waits are on a players that are disconnecting and reconnecting repeatedly (probably due to 3G), and I think this is a blessing and a curse. If a player is disconnected from a game, when they reconnect they are automatically funneled back into that game, so they can't start a new game until the current one is over. While this can cause long game delays, it prevents players from dumping losing games to start new ones-- otherwise people would be jumping from game to game and you'd end up playing mostly bots.

I've had no issue with tables filling up, generally a minute or less.

Occasionally on the last turn a non-winning player will quit out of the app which can freeze up the game.

Other than that, multiplayer is much more fun than playing bots, hands down.

Best Hearts App out!

I have every single Hearts game out!
The clean layout and multiplayer option
makes this app far superior to the rest.
The ONE thing that would make this the ULTIMATE game would be the ability to communicate or perhaps make gestures to the other players. Ie; "Well Done, I messed up or lost count."
I was new to the game of Hearts a year ago. Now I'm hooked. Second in complexity & strategy ONLY to Chess!
Who has time for a full game of Chess?A mathematicians dream. So many strategies, and play styles. 10-15 minutes and your done.
The feeling of tricking others into your trap and Shoot That Moon...., leaves a smile on my face for hours. A Great Game!
Add any sort of communication element; whether it be gestures or actual text is the only thing. I have 1 other App that claims multiplayer & communication, but it never works!
Sloppy interface and terrible graphics.
This is the best one out! (So far)

Yes! Yes! Yes!

Great relaxer! When using single player, you can start and stop without any challenges. Although I like winning and shooting the moon, some of the strategy programming could be stronger. I share the concern about time lag when using multiplayer. I need to remember to allow enough time to complete a game. I like the simple touch the card rather than flicking or double-tap as I've found on other games. When playing actual cards with actual people, you have to remember if hearts were broken or who all have hearts. Having the distribution of hearts and queen played makes it a little less challenging. The option of hiding the point number and/or score would make it a little more like realtime play, I think. After all that, it's still Yes! Yes! Yes!
