No new issue since summer 2012
I've subscribed to a lot of digital content in my day, and this is pretty unreal. Baker Creek doesn't seem to have a word to say about it, but it appears as if my subscription money is just gone and we won't be getting any more issues. I can only assume as much when it is now almost Spring 2013 and a new issue hasn't hit this app since summer 2012. It's just very sad and disheartening and gives me a reason to pause in regards to a brand and company I was otherwise very proud of. I realize they probably don't have a lot of digital subscribers and this is just falling through the cracks, but it really is a frustrating shame for those of us who are subscribed and have no idea if they plan on continuing to support the app or not. It's very bad business no matter how you look at it. Please, Baker Creek, take a few minutes from ranting about the evils of GMOs and the man and get this part of your house in order. At least notify your customers if you've decided to abandon the digital format.
I purchased a year's subscription last year sometime via this App. I received two issues since subscribing. My last issue received was Summer 2012. To this date I still have not received the Fall 2012 edition. The magazine has excellent and usable information and the photography is down right beautiful. I contacted the seed company (I love this seed company's seeds) directly just this weekend and this was its response via email: "You will need to contact your app provider as we have no control over the app. Sorry I couldn't help you more."
I would recommend not purchasing a subscription via this App until the problem has been resolved. But do visit the seed company's website and take a look around. And, if you are dying to be impressed by the magazine, consider subscribing to the magazine the old-fashioned way.
I paid something like 30 dollars for a subscription and purchase back issues and I am not getting any of the new content. What is going on bakers creek??? Your seeds are great but if I pay for something I expect to receive it. I would change this rating if it got updated, the new issue came out months ago! Now it's been updated, but still has none of the content I paid to receive, and calling your help number on the website yields no response whatsoever.
