Cuyahoga Community College’s Help Is Here app provides guidance for supporting a friend in need, suicide prevention, or coping with mental health challenges. With the “My Support Network” function, users can create a customized collection of just those contacts they especially want to quickly access and reach out to by phone or text during difficult times. Help Is Here also provides easy and centralized access to potentially life-saving resources and services offered on campus and in the community, including crisis hotlines. The Help Is Here app is designed for students, parents, friends of students, faculty and staff of Cuyahoga Community College, located in Northeast Ohio. The Help Is Here app better prepares people to help a friend, loved one or themselves.

I love this App

I really love all the info about suicide, and if you know someone that may be thinking about it, it helps you identify ways to figure out if they are, what to say to that person and what not to say, places to call for help. I really love that part of it. Not to mention all the help with everything else, the food bank is even on there! Thank you for caring!

This app is really great to have on your phone. I say that because with everything goin on in the world there is always someone that needs help mentally emotionally and or physically I recommend getting this app on your phone

This app really provides a simple and quick way to get help and what better way then to use the most desired communication method alive today, (TEXTING). It’s great know someone who needs help right away can get it without voice or visual exposure.
